The Objective:
Find a creative way to make a Special Announcement during
a speech in the Opening General Session of La Quinta Inns and Suites’ International
Conference. Use an approach that is
in-tune with the Presenter’s tastes as well as the company’s style and
objectives.
Directives:
Explain the Special Announcement. Make it fun and memorable. Segue out of and back into the Presenter’s
speech.
Production Notes:
Company associates pitched in to help, keeping costs
down. IT Department employees created
the Dream Device and appear in the TV.
Chief Operating Officer and Chief Franchise Officer set
up the video on-stage, encouraging the Presenter to drink some water in the
middle of the speech. When he fell back,
drugged, the video rolled.
At the conclusion, the Presenter returns to the stage
wearing the attire from the end of the video.
